About me
Hi, I’m Kat. A native upstate New Yorker turned snowbird by 30, I now split my time between the Northeast and Florida, chasing sunshine year-round with my husband and our three pups.
I grew up in a creative home—my mom was a designer and design professor, so things like color palettes and kerning often came up at the dinner table. She’s the reason I fell in love with beautiful design, why I see creativity as both instinct and craft, and how I learned to pour the perfect glass of wine
(thanks, Mom).
I’ve been working as a professional designer for over a decade, but design has always been in my orbit. From freelancing with scrappy start-ups to partnering with established brands, I’ve built a career around thoughtful, elevated, data-driven creative that tells a story.
The Work
I’m a senior designer with a marketing brain and a creative heart. I love finding that sweet spot where strategy meets style—where design not only looks good but actually works. Over the years, I’ve partnered with brands of all sizes to build digital campaigns, brand systems, and email journeys that feel thoughtful, cohesive, and totally on-brand.
I’m a big believer in collaboration, and thrive in the space between creativity and clarity. I love the puzzle of turning big ideas into clean, compelling visuals—and yes, I genuinely love a well-organized spreadsheet. Years of freelancing have made me fast-moving, detail-obsessed, and always ready with a plan B (and C). Whether I’m leading a creative project or jumping into the details, I bring thoughtfulness, flexibility, and a point of view.
The Life
When I’m not designing, I’m probably trip-planning. Travel is a big part of my life (my obsession began with a backpacking trip through Nicaragua), and over the years I’ve become the unofficial travel planner and points hacker in our friend group. I love curating trips with the same attention to detail I bring to my work—making sure every moment feels beautiful and well thought out.
My husband and I are also entrepreneurs and Airbnb hosts, slowly building a lifestyle centered on freedom, creativity, and financial independence. Whether we’re working on a new project or chasing the next beach sunset, I’m always looking for ways to blend design, life, and adventure in a way that feels full and inspiring.
